Theme - Our relationship with Jesus Christ changes the way we look at friendship, love, and marriage. Purpose - Youth will explore the nature of love as it is reflected in friendship and marriage and the destructive influence of jealousy on relationships. Synopsis - Food critic Julianne "Jules" Potter and her best friend, sportswriter Michael O'Neal, made a pledge that if they made it to age 28 without getting married, they would marry each other. When Michael calls to tell Jules that he has met the perfect woman and is getting married, Jules proceeds to try everthying possible to break up the wedding, in the mistaken belief that the two of them belong together. This results in a series of hilarious situations and important realizations. |
Synopsis - Widower Sam Baldwin mourns his beloved wife so deeply that his anxious son, Jonah, calls a nationwide radio talk show to ask for advice. Reluctantly, Sam tells his story on the air; and thousands of women send him letters offering companionship. One listener is Annie Reed whose letter appeals most to Jonah. But Sam isn't interested in blind dates, and Annie is engaged. What follows is a combination of luck and destiny, and the two MFEO (made for each other) lovers finally meet and fall in love despite seemingly overwhelming obstacles. |
