The United Methodist Student Movement plays a vital role in the growth and development of all college students.
Students! We apologize! We have not been faithful to you! You have been in our prayers but we did not send out those care packages in the Fall nor schedule any dinners
So here is what we will do. Before school ends for you this Spring you will receive in the mail a very special care package from your friends at the church. I know this does not make up for a free meal but we are trying. Enjoy and good studying and don't forget to fill out those scholarship / student loan forms.

The Conference Merit Award Scholarship
The Award: $1,000
Eligibility: Must be nominated by a local church (only one applicant per church). Must be attending an institution of higher education recognized as United Methodist by the University Senate.

Annual Conference Scholars Program
The Award: $1,000
Eligibility: Must be an active member of The United Methodist Church and be an entering freshman at a United Methodist-related theological school, college, or university.

Deadline: April 1, 2005
Annual Conference Merit Awards
Eligibility: Must be an active member of The United Methodist Church and be an entering freshman or current student in a college or university. Students must include a letter from their pastor.

The Sylvia Miller Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be in their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies.
Amount: $500.
